More than 150 dresses live at the studio in Brasilia Baabda. A large collection for children, a generous maternity selection, and a smaller line for grown-ups. One piece is included with every session, with additional dresses available as a small add-on.
A wardrobe lives inside the studio. So does Parasol Couture.
The wardrobe is grouped by who is wearing the dress, not by colour or hanger. The biggest part of the rotation is for children, the next largest for maternity, and a smaller, carefully chosen collection for grown-ups. When you arrive, we walk you through the collection that matches your session.
Inside the studio sits Parasol Couture, our sister brand. A separate, smaller line of couture pieces with higher fabrics and more sculptural drape, made to be worn for the kind of frame that needs more than a studio dress.
During a Parapluie session, any Parasol Couture piece can be rented for $30. The same fitting, the same styling, just a higher tier of dress for the frames that ask for it. For couture rental outside the studio, the pieces are available through Parasol Couture directly.
For fine art sessions, we talk through the concept on a short call before the day. The wardrobe direction follows from that conversation.
Arrive 15 minutes before your session start time. We keep the studio open and pour a coffee while you settle in.
We walk you through the relevant collection, try on two or three pieces, and choose together. The dress that wins is usually the one you feel most yourself in.
Final adjustments on the day. Pinning, pleating, draping, the small things that make a dress photograph well. Not a full styling service.
Choose one piece from the studio wardrobe. Children, maternity, or grown-up, depending on who is sitting.
Add another piece from the studio wardrobe to the same session. Useful for sittings with time for two looks.
Wear a piece from Parasol Couture, our sister brand inside the studio. A higher tier of fabric and finish, available in-session.
Hair and makeup are not provided in house. The studio wardrobe is for sessions at the studio only, not sent in advance and not rented for use outside the studio. For couture rental outside the session, visit Parasol Couture at parasolcouture.com.
